Technological communication platforms and channels are a critical component of the success of multi-stakeholder, international networks of committed individuals and organizations harnessing their knowledge and spurring action to champion innovations that scale the impact of efforts to address the world’s most pressing challenges. Success is not measured simply by one-way sharing of data, but through thoughtful dialogs, shared action plans, and informative outputs supported by easy-to-use technologies. It is in the defining of common goals, the exchange of ideas, proposed solutions, and shared activities that true scaling is achieved.

Technology can hinder the success of a network. iScale works with partners to develop, implement, and promote those communications platforms likely to increase the likelihood of the global network working across multiple sites meeting its goals. iScale supports the network in articulating clear tactical and practical goals of the network, then jointly determining which existing functional tools best support success. Additionally, we collaborate with partners to explore innovative uses of existing tools or to co-design new tools or combination of tools to support true collaboration and learning.
